Is my call data stored in Canada?
Yes. Every audio byte and transcript transits our ca-central-1 AWS region. Nothing is stored in the United States. Suitable for PIPEDA and Quebec Law 25 compliance review.
Can I use my existing phone number?
Yes. You can bring a number you already own in Telnyx and attach it to your agent in the dashboard. Or rent a Canadian number through us — typical cost $1/month.
What happens if I run out of minutes?
Incoming calls politely decline with a brief message until the next billing cycle. You can upgrade your plan at any time to raise the quota. We never auto-bill overage.
How accurate is the transcript?
Transcripts are generated by OpenAI gpt-4o-mini-transcribe, which delivers roughly 95% word-accuracy for clear English speech. French Canadian works out of the box; heavy accents or background noise reduce accuracy.
What voice does the agent use?
Choose from 8 natural voices at agent-setup time (alloy, ash, ballad, coral, echo, sage, shimmer, verse). You can change voices any time without losing history.
Can I listen to a call or read the transcript afterwards?
