What does the scanner actually check?
25+ checkpoints across SEO (title, meta description, H1, canonical, Open Graph, structured data, favicon), performance (load time, TTFB, DOM ready, element count), images (alt text, broken images), mobile (viewport, overflow), security (HTTPS), and content analysis (word count, links, headings).
Do you store my scan data?
No. Scan results are returned directly to your browser and never stored on our servers. We only keep a temporary rate-limit counter tied to your IP, which resets every hour.
How is the audit score calculated?
The 0–100 score is a weighted composite of SEO (40%), performance (25%), images (15%), mobile (10%), and security (10%). Each category runs multiple checks, and the final score is graded A through F.
Can I scan any website?
You can scan any publicly accessible URL. Private/internal addresses and localhost are blocked for security (SSRF protection). Sites behind login walls will only show the login page.
Where are scans processed?
All scans run on Canadian-hosted infrastructure (AWS ca-central). Your data never leaves Canada. The scanner uses a hardened Chromium instance with SSRF protections and automatic cleanup.
